This website has been set up to try and discover the whereabouts of Vincent (Vinny) Derrick. Vinny disappeared after a night out with work colleagues on Friday 29th August 2003. The married father-of-one is originally from Castle Donington, Leicestershire, but had relocated through work to Partington, Greater Manchester.

He has not been heard from since he phoned a work colleague to say he was getting a taxi to her house.

He is believed to have got a taxi from Jabez Clegg, Portsmouth Street, Manchester around 00:30 hrs - 01:30 hrs and alighted the taxi between 01:15 hrs - 02:00 hrs, somewhere along the A34 around the area of East Didsbury and Cheadle. Vinny was on his way to Heald Green to stay the night at a colleagues house and also phoned for directions whilst enroute. He did not arrive nor has he been seen or heard of since.

Vinny was in possession of a Nokia 3650 camera phone. It had video capture, playback, and an integrated digital camera. (See picture.) It has not been found and it would be useful to discover its whereabouts.

There is a REWARD for information which leads to the finding of Vinny. Although it is hoped that anyone who has any details would like to see the anxious wait for knowledge of his whereabouts, come to an end for his relatives.
